After receiving a BSc. in Psychology (honors), with a specialization in clinical neuropsychology in 2011, I finished a research MSc. in Brain and Cognitive Sciences (cum laude) in 2013. I did PhD. research on moral cognition. Are humans born with a sense of right and wrong? Or do we have to be taught what is good and what is not? I try to answer this question by combining empirical studies with modelling techniques borrowed from formal logic and experimental techniques from cognitive neuroscience. The PhD. research was conducted at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). My supervisors were Prof. Dr. Sonja Smets, Dr. Jakub Szymanik, Prof. Dr. Mark van Vugt and Dr. Michiel van Elk.
Currently I work as a data scientist and analytics consultant in the mobility sector.
In my free time I love to do sports, read and spend time with my family 🙂
